COOKIE MONSTER

Anderson helped me bake cookies last night. He loves to be a helper, especially when it comes to cooking! All I had to do was say the word "cookies" and he was pulling the barstool over to the counter to help!

Like I said, he likes to help!

He's a boy after my own heart, he likes the cookie dough as much as the baked cookies!

"Are they ready yet?"

"Yum, Yum" He says that a lot when he's eating . . . so cute! Makes me really proud when he says it while eating his veggies!

"I see you eyeing my cookies, daddy."

Take a look at that face!
"Can I have just one more, please?"

My First Haircut

I was such a big boy sitting in the chair with my apron on!

Mrs. Courtney started with the back so I didn't know anything was going on. I was just enjoying my cracker!

Then she got to the sides and I wasn't too sure about it, but after a nice little talk I went back to eating my cracker and was fine!

My new do - so handsome! How do you like it?

I'm going to be a . . .

That's right, Anderson! You sure are! And a great one I'm sure!

We have officially started the adoption process again as of last week! I am very excited about what God has in store for us as we begin this journey again. Our first experience was so positive. I hope that holds true once again! We have submitted our preliminary application and it has been approved. Now we are currently working on our formal application or should I say life history?! The second time around isn't any lighter in the paperwork load unfortunately. But it's okay for there will be a great little bundle of joy at the end of the paper trail!
Once again we would covet your prayers for our family, for the birthmother and for our future child as we go through this process. It is so important to us that God uses this situation for His glory both in our lives and in the life of the birthmother. That was true in our adoption of Little A and we can only pray that it is so again.
I'll keep you posted on the latest events, so check back!

These boots were made for walking . . .

Anderson's Aunt KK bought him the cutest pair of boots. He looks like such a little man wearing them! As you know, I'm a sucker for the smocked, "pretty" outfits (that his daddy says will get him beat up), but these boots just say "boy"! And they match perfectly with his camo overalls his daddy bought him for Christmas. I thought they were cute . . . if only they had a little smocking! Just kidding!

Daddy's Little Helper

So I had to buy a shelf after all the Christmas toys to store some of Anderson's new loot. Allen was putting it together the other night and Anderson decided he needed to help. We got his hammer and he hammered away! He's going to be a good handy-man, just like his daddy!

Sibling Photo Shoot

Me and all my siblings got together before Christmas to take pictures for my mom and dad of all of us. It was quite an adventure with the 3 kids, and the sons-in-law who don't like picture taking, and just the fact that there are so many of us! But we got it done and managed to get a few good pictures to frame. My youngest sister's boyfriend was our photographer - bless his heart . . .

Here we all are! Starting with the back row from left: Amber (my sister), Blake (my step-brother), Tim (brother), Kelsey (youngest sister), Magan (sister), Aaron (Magan's hubby), Me
Front row: Todd (Amber's hubby), Camryn (neice), Kennedy (neice), Anderson, Allen

Another one of all of us, new location!

All the girls

All the guys

All us kids minus the sons-in-law

Grandkids
Grandson

Granddaughters

Now some un-cut versions for your viewing entertainment!

I give up - this is a hopeless cause!
I'm outta here! Gotta go find that cheese that everyone keeps talking about!!!
